About The Last Patrol

The Last Patrol is an Ohio non-profit organization that is operating solely under a 501(c) (3) tax status. The group was founded to teach and preserve our country’s military history by preserving equipment and artifacts of our modern military. Along with the interpreting the stories of our ongoing pursuit of peace and freedom, we will display our history from the home front to the war front. Since our conception we have added a second mission. The second mission is the direct support of the United States youth groups.

Our Mission

The Last Patrol was founded to teach and preserve our country's military history by preserving the equipment and artifacts of our modern military. We interpret the stories of American service members from the home front to the war front, and we put that history in front of people through the vessels and equipment we restore and display.

What We Do
• Operate a military museum in Swanton, Ohio, home to restored vessels including the 39' US Navy HSB, MSB 26517, and MLB 44334, a 44' US Coast Guard motor lifeboat.
• Serve as a training command, providing hands-on training and mentorship for Sea Cadets.
• Provide direct support to United States youth groups.

Our Vision

That the vessels, equipment, and stories of the men and women who served stay preserved, working, and teaching for future generations.
Last Patrol Inc has been a federally recognized 501(c)(3) public charity since 1995. Contributions are tax-deductible.
